Chimera: a mythical beast made up to have the heads of a lion and ram and the tail replaced with a snake. Or a creature made up of multiple animals.

So if you don't have a name for a weird beast you made up, you might as well call it a chimera. Actually, I was thinking of the first definition when I drew this, but there was no way I was going to design three heads for one animal, so instead I combined elements of the three into one beast. Only I replaced the lion with a lynx or puma (explaining the face and ears)

Chimeras have a role in EH that is quite shocking if I ever get that far, if any of you will notice some odd similarities between this and my Foundlings, well, I'll let you guys peruse the possibilities on your own.

Fun fact: in EH, the crest for the House of Hollow is the lynx, and it was said the family's spirit guardian resembled a white cat with thin horns that only appeared at night protecting the sleeping.

Ooo, wow. That is REALLY cool. I love the design, how you took elements from each animal to make something completely new. It looks awesome! I would love to see a full-body version, but I do like how you drew this. I can't wait to see how they show up in Ever Hollow! ^^ Beautiful job on the coloring; the chimera itself has very realistic shading, and the blended green/yellow background compliments it well. Definitely faving this, it's such fun to look at! =)

It looks cool and friendly\good. Not like most of the monstrous chimeras people draw. I like that.

well, I can't do groos and ugly too well. I thinks it's cause I don't play enough gorry games.... come to think of it, the only games I have with any hint of blood in them are Bloody Roar and Prince of Persia... :confused:

I don't think I'd want to cross it, nevertheless. It looks like it could do a lot of damage with those teeth. I actually think the word I was going for was "intelligent" as opposed to just a brute animal\monster.

Oooh, cool! I'm a sucker for this kind of thing, you know :XD: I like the fur detail and the horns! Hmmm...EH connection...*goes off to ponder all kinds of possibilities* Very nice combo on this chimera, by the way!
