this is the last of the 10 free sketch thing from my journal a few weeks back. cause silly me forgot to draw it, and
has been oh so patient waiting for it.
anyway. this one was particularly interesting, because rather then just use printer paper like I did the others, I drew it in a rather less-than-mid conditioned sketchbook that I'm currently trying to use up.
what makes this sketch book in bad condition in the uber dry climate here that sometimes turns paper to scratchy parchment. so depending on how the sketchbook was stored, I might buy a normal quality one like normal, or end up buying the same brand but with messed up paper.
now, the interesting part here, is that it soaked up markers very well, and bled them into each other to end up with a very water-color feel to them!
ain't that kinda cool as hell?
plus, it was very fun to do. the only problem is that since it does bleed something fierce... there are a few blotchy parts that don't look all that appealing. but oh well. it was fun. I love the outcome. and I hope Bethany likes it too
