When I first read the title to the email notice I was excited that someone might want a commission. Imagine my total shock when I read that it was a year instead of a one month or even a three month. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not belittling myself. But I never once imagined that someone would be willing to support me and my art that much. I can’t even begin to thank him for such an awesome gift of support.
Anyway, about this picture, it’s got to be best piece of inking I’ve been able to do in months (not counting the comic) I’ve just been in a real art slump lately with no real explanation. Hardly even been able to doodle for that matter. I have all these projects planned that I want to do and no motivation to do them. It’s been real rough on my mental health because not making art is like a sickness to me. (call me crazy, but hey, we all have our little insane addictions, mine is drawing)
This originally started out as a statue of a lady sphinx on a plain pedestal, then I was going to add and anime character (whose name I can’t remember) from Read or Die examining the statue. But one thing led to another and I found myself adding pillows and curtains and lace. And the composition just grew on it’s own. It came out much better than my original plan and I hope =
lignamorren will accept it.

I know exactly what you mean. I have a comic in the works; and I can't even get any creative 'zest' to get back on track with it... And I have no idea why
Luckily I've been able to write some more of the story down, but that's about it. It's frustrating as hell.
Anyway; hope you get your creative-ness back soon, you have some kick ass skills
