how the heck to you choose what catigory to put a 50/50 picture in??? that's all I have to ask.

oh, and I did shade all that by hand, only the colors and rendering are digital. and it's the picture I want to use for the redesigning of my site....

I like powerful simple images, and this is definitely one of them. The colors used are simple, and it only helps emphasize the point of interest; the apple.

The only thing I'd suggest is to make the background a little bit darker, to add more contrast. Overall, though, this is great. Fav-worthy.

(And outta curiousity, does that boy have a tail?)

I love the ethereal, whispy look of this. I think of the artwork used in the old "Hobbit" animated movie, and that's a very good thing.

Also...great job on the moss. Mine always comes out looking like green carpeting :giggle:

P.P.S. Auron is sooo cute!!

oh, I love that old movie, one of my faves as a kid, right next to The Last Unicorn.
