in the first week of December, my gaming partner and I agreed to lay off Dark Souls and attempt to finish a goal we each set for ourselves to be done by New Years.

due to real life and art block, neither of us met those goals.

and the whole time I had not touched the game.

at all.

and it was hard.

then this happened about 5 days ago...

needless to say I was very, VERY annoyed at him. and there were words. and laughter. but mostly me fuming and calling him a traitor and promise breaker and the like. (EDIT: it bears to mention that that was the first time he played since the deal.)

I still didn't touch the game... not until the day before yesterday when I finally broke down and just HAD to play.
