about 3 weeks ago, I went with mom to a local craft store where i was just window shopping while she was buying more supplies for her job. we came across this awesome epic lizard patterned cloth!

I wanted to buy it... but... I had no idea what I would have done with it if I did!

so I told mom to buy it for work... maybe we could have her patients turn it into something or other...

however, I wasn't completely window shopping. while mom was buying supplies for work, she was also buying stuff for the house. so she had the work related basket while I had the house related one. I was gonna pay for the house items, and she was using money she got from work to cover everything for her work supplies.

however... the lizard cloth got into the wrong basket... we also got some other clothes to redo some chair seats in the kitchen, and it all got mixed up and the cloth was hiding between them... so I ended up paying for the lizard cloth...

we didn't figure this out until we got home...

so I ended up with 3 yards of cloth I had no idea what to do with.

until last Saturday, that is. I was looking though my scrap box for something and saw the plastic bag with the lizard cloth left near by. and for whatever reason I was holding it up examining the lizards again and mom walked in on me wondering if I was busy. we talked about what to do with the cloth. and the bottom like was either new curtains or pillowcases. curtains were out since I didn't have enough for those huge windows. and I just so happen to have two square pillows that only have 2 sets of pillowcases I rotate when changing sheets... both sets are white and boooooorrrrrrrriiiiiiinnnnng!!!

SO! today, I turned the lizard cloth into epic pillowcases!

true, it doesn't go with my overall white and purple theme... but who the hell cares? they are awesome! :la:

It goes with the theme fine. Green and purple are complimentary colors!

And lizards go with everything.
