One of the un-named races. These are the smaller cousins of the Chimerans. They live in a landscape that’s covered in tall golden grass (and wild wheat). Their sandy golden pelts with their stripes make them blend with the grass, thus making them virtually invisible to the eye even if they were only 3 feet away from you. Their reptilian raptor-like claws and feet make them extremely deadly, the hooked talons on their hind legs are sharp enough to tear the flesh all the way to the bone. And if that’s not enough, they have snake fangs complete with venom sacks hidden in those sleek muzzles. Their long slick bodies make them excellent runners that even Sprinters can’t beat. If they are caught in the open, they can cloak themselves with their wide flat tails and mimic a rock or sandy lump (only works from afar of course)

Though they don’t really relate to the Chimerans, they have a special kinship based on history. These creatures roam the grass plains that surround the Crimson Woods, preventing anything human or similar from entering the sacred grounds. They communicate through telepathy and have a bizarre thing for weaving things with grass the females live in underground caverns with their pups while the males protect the opening from the top.

If anyone have a good name for these cunning beasts, I’d truly appreciate it.
