I just popped by for a sec (you know I can't REALLY stay away for 2 whole weeks. gotta at least check for any comments... the deviations are piling up though, yikes!)

so please don't expect me to answer right away just yet, I'm still on vacation from the nets... more or less. I just spent about half an hour a day to keep track of my comics, emails, and commentary. but don't I bother browsing anything extra...

and since you all seem to have facebook (I'm actually oddly surprised about this, though I really shouldn't be) you guys can add me by searching for "Naziha Zahed" (I'll be the blue thing with the evil eye)

so yeah, if I decide to spend just a wee more minutes on my limited netting time, I'll accept all of you in my friends list.

take care all, and thank you for the good wishes.
ta!

PS: if you happen to be playing FarmVille, I wouldn't mind having you guys as farm neighbors

ok, first off, I want to thank all of you for your time critiquing me the other day(s). it was all very insightful and super helpful. thank you muchly.

second, I've had it up to here and then some with not getting to hold my pencils and sketchpads in peace. and I'm fairly sure at this point I very well might have forgotten how to actually draw!

third, I'm fed up with wanting to do a bajillian things but never having the time I want to do them in. because I'm always either distracted or dragged off to do something I have no interest in doing in the first place. can you believe I now have a Facebook account? granted, all the games are dead fun, and I'm "sorta" getting all my friends and relatives added into one nice HUUUUGE easy to access list. but honestly. I never really wanted a blog spot like MY Space or My Journal or Facebook. dA is MY chosen blog. nuff said.

and fourth, I'm gonna finally do something about it.

all that said..........

I'm gonna vanish for a little while.

sooooo...

try not to miss me too much, k? I'll be back a couple weeks.

byes, and take care.

I kidnapped this from :iconphitus:'s journal. he always has something interesting going on there, it seems.

anyway, if you guys decide to answer this, I want full honesty along with some critique. I promise I won't whine or bite your head off (much :paranoid: ). I wanna know for improvement's sake, that's all.

1. Do I have a distinct style of drawing?
2. If so, what exactly is it that defines my "style"?
3. Would you say my art usually follows a 'theme'?
4. Is there anything I really need to improve on or change?
5. Does my style (if I have one) remind you of/look like the style of anyone else?
6. Judging from whatever art of mine that you've seen, what do you think I do the best at?
7. What do you think I suck at?

thanks, and take care:

yeah, I just discovered through the finding of a very nasty looking stain on one of shelves on the very lowest shelf backing, that a tiny nest of mulch making roaches decided to make there home in an outlet.

honestly, what nerve!!! they ruined the backing of my white shelves and dare to scuttle away once discovered. I had to cut out the rotten part of the backing so the outlet can stay exposed (not to mention to get rid of that unclean-able stain and moldy smell)

my only bright side is that because it's under the lowest shelf, you can't see neither stain nor hole. especially with my art supply boxes covering them.

the swine flu paranoia continues to annoy the bloody heck out of me at work. I'm now forced to wear a mouth mask, gloves, and carry a bottle of liquid sanitizer all over the place. the liquid goop, I can handle, and the gloves, ok, because I have to wear them in the hepatitis section anyways. but the face mask it totally redundant. because any germs you might get, often comes in through the eyes. so if you're gonna wear anything stupid, you might as well wear some goggles.

sorry, I ramble.

I give up trying to predict weather or not I'll get any art done for myself on my days off, but here's to still hoping SOMETHING will somehow get done this Thursday and Friday.

we now have a house cleaner, so chores are thankfully cut down. now if only mom can stop nagging me for just a few hours, I'd be happy as a kitten with a bell.

bleh, whatever, take care all.

stupid weekend

wasn't able to do diddly squat this weekend at allll!!!!!

we had surprise guests coming out of now where that we weren't prepared to have over.

dad bought delicacy goods that I had to cook ASAP or they would have spoiled. mutton brains and seedling beans. a pain to prepare because you have to the literally watch the pots as they boil or you risk spoiling the goods. I especially hate preparing brain meat. but dad was really excited at the idea of eating them, so... yeah.

it was my youngest brother's birthday last Friday. we didn't do anything to special, but I still had to make cakes. partly for his B-day and I love him cause he's a really good kid, and partly because the left over diced raw zucchini was gonna go bad if I didn't cook it soon. so chocolate vitamin cake it is.

ever play Beetles Rockband for 2 1/2 hours straight???? I don't recommend it. it get's painful after the first hour. but we did manage to finish story mode in one sitting.

ow.

so there goes my self resolution for this week.,
